Is Being Pregnant an illness condition?

pregnancy condition

While it is not ever brought up, there are some people who might classify pregnancy as being sick because of some of the changes that a woman go through from morning sickness to changes in their body. But make sure to keep in mind that pregnancy is a natural condition that almost every woman in the world experience sometime in their lifetime.

Pregnancy will produce major changes physically and in some cases mentally. Most women will start showing in their second trimester. While physical changes might be noticed by the pregnant woman during her first trimester of pregnancy, it is usually not until the second trimester when most people will notice that someone is pregnant. Some women will start to feel their breast getting bigger, many more don’t experience this until the time that their baby is ready to be born or after the baby is born.

A large percentage of women will experience morning sickness, which occurs anytime of the day. And because everyone is different, some may get sick in their first trimester, others in the second and still some in their third trimester. And for some women, they might get it during two different trimester or throughout the whole pregnancy. There are medicines that you can try to use to reduce or prevent morning sickness from happening, but they don’t work for everyone. And to play it safe, most women just try to manage it on their own without taking anything for it as anything that you take will pass thought to your baby. And regardless of whether something is said to be safe, it doesn’t hurt to be even safer by not taking anything at all.

There are many more conditions that a woman might go through or experience during her pregnancy. While some will experience quite a few of them, a handful may not experience any or just one or two. Some of the conditions are nausea, headaches, craving, frequent urination, breast tenderness, sore gums, soreness in pelvic are. As far as craving, there will be food that you will no longer like to eat that you used to not get enough off, while at the same time eating food that you never thought you could like.

Pregnancy for a women on average last eight to nine months. While there are exceptions when a baby must be delivered earlier or in a few cases even later than nine months. Most deliveries are between two weeks before and after the due date given by their ob-gyn doctor.
